Live music runs
continuously from
11am til past midnight on SAT, and from 11am - 7pm on SUN.
Most definitely plan to
come, it'll be phenomenal.
True, it is a
desert out here, so plan accordingly. In October,
the average hi is 84, lo is 56. Bring shade for camp, hats,
umbrellas, water, sunscreen. We have (13,000 sq.
ft.) of shade cloth
over the audience in front of the stages and at kidsville.
Two stages alternate
throughout the weekend, so music is continuous
and you don't miss any of the bands. No running
around trying to figure out who to see when -
how - where - with whom and can you clone
yourself?
No swimming in the lake.
It is a beauty, but lochness (esque) rumours
abound.
Sure, bring your own
food. Or feast on yummy eats in the village.
Come and go freely from
your camp to the festival village all you want,
day and night. Keep all glass at camp, though.
Sorry, but ABSOLUTELY no
doggies whatsoever (except guide dogs) in the
campground or in the festival site. We love the
dogs, but they need to stay home.
Yes, stage sightlines are
sweet. No huge crowds keeping you from getting
right up front into the action.
Dancing is not required,
but virtually unavoidable.
ATM, health food
store, restaurants and liquor store are 8 miles
from festival site.
Mobile phones work (cingular/at&t
are best). WI FI is available for those that
must stay in touch.
FREE Water is
readily available in the music bowl.
Kids 10 and under
free. 11 and up need a full adult ticket.
Lots more shade
cloth in the music bowl this year.
