YES, the festival is one of the premier family friendly festivals in the country.
We truly cater to families.  Kidsville is action packed, 10 and unders enter free, 11-16 yr olds get in for half price,
there’s a family camp section in the campground, and lots of ‘eyes and ears’ keeping things safe for all.

When can I arrive?  (Box Office Hours)
THURSDAY - SATURDAY 8am - 12 midnight
SUNDAY 8am - 8pm
Please do NOT plan to arrive on Wednesday, you will not be able to check in.

Please have your barcoded ticket/s and photo ID ready at Will Call to check in.
Please make alternative plans if you cannot arrive within these hours. If you arrive outside of these hours you will not be able to access the festival or the campgrounds, you will be directed to a holding area to wait until Will Call opens.

Live music runs continuously from 5pm-Midnight on THU, 10am – 1:30am on FRI & SAT, and 10am-Midnight on SUN.

Most definitely plan to come, it’ll be phenomenal.

True, it is a desert out here so temperatures can be erratic to say the least. In May, the average high is 93, low is 71. In October it’s 84 and 56 respectively. Come prepared for anything. Bring shade for camp, hats, umbrellas, water, and sunscreen. Wind does blow through so remember to adequately stake things down; rebar and sandbags work great. EZ-Ups fly away easily.

Our two main stages alternate throughout the weekend, so music is continuous and you don’t miss any bands.

Sure, bring your own food or feast on the yummy eats in the village.

Free filtered water for festival attendees is available in the music bowl and campground . Please bring your own refillable containers!

Hot showers are free from 8am to 8pm each day.

Yes, we love animals but you have to leave your dogs, cats, pigs, etc., at home. Service animals only. Treat your pup to a vacation at the Joshua Tree Pet Resort, and ask for a festival discount.

No huge crowds keeping you from getting right up front into the action, so special wristband needed to enter the 'backstage' area. The Joshua Tree Music Festival is intimate and inclusive.

Health food store, restaurants, and liquor stores are 8 miles from the festival sight.

Once you have your festival wristband, and your vehicle has the all-weekend in-and-out pass, you can come and go from the festival site as you please.

Cell phones do work (AT&T seems to be best). Wi-Fi is available to purchase for those that must stay in touch.
